Just a quick peek at the renovation so far. The walls were once covered with brown paneling, which was hiding soot over pink paint. The floor was covered in a dark green and black rug which also hid the fact that the floor was painted dark, dark brown only about 3 feet around creating a border. The dresser was once my Aunt's and was a gold and cream color. It took a lot of elbow grease and patience but this is what we have so far..... I'm loving it... keep watching for the full reveal.

I love country fairs. The food vendors, the entertainment, the animals in the barns, the rides, the arts and craft entries, the contests etc. There is so much to see. Each year my family enters lots of craft items to be judged. And they walk away with lots of ribbons. My neice and I worked on a sewing project this year. After making lots of yo-yos, she pieced them together to form a worm body, added a flower patch for the tail and a beautiful worm face. Guess what!?!?!? it won a ribbon!! We are already planning next year's entries!!!

Want to see what we are working on for the Vineyard?!?!?!
A grape cluster bracelet!! This is made of hand cut fused glass. Each tiny piece is cut and layered (by me) and then fused in a kiln at 1500 degrees. I love the beautiful colors and it was so much fun to make. Hope they like it as much as I do!!!

I'm so excited!! My sister is painting a unique "valance" for my kitchen. She is working on a series of Coffee cups all in different colors. It will take about 10 small canvas paintings to complete the valance. It will be beautiful.
The Herbs sign will be placed in a different room, but I love the colors of both pictures!!!

Use chalkboard paint to update a door. Not only does it looks sleek and clean, but you find these great notes from everyone. I painted the chalkboard on the dining room door as a way to post "tonight's menu" but I get lots of "love notes" on that door.
Below is the front and back of the bathroom door. The kids posted the bathroom rules!!
Easy and fun project!!
